JOB DESCRIPTION(Refer to 1st Photographer) | |
Position Basics | To engage positively with guests, capture images at various locations and create wonderful cruise memories, selling and promoting all products available in the Photo Gallery / Photo Shop, and on vessels where the following applies: Photo Operations, Internet Operations, Wristband sales, “MSC for ME” App and Video Operations to surpass sales targets. |
Experience Required |
- Advanced knowledge of Digital SLR camera operation - Advanced knowledge of studio photography - Preferred photography coursework or degree, or equivalent work experience - Computer and internet literate; competent with hardware and software - Preferred customer service, marketing, or sales experience - Ability to work in a diverse workplace - High energy, enthusiastic, ambitious, and motivated - Revenue-driven team player with strong interpersonal skills - Adaptability to new challenges in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision - Objective decision-making required - Understanding and comprehension of KPI's associated with The HUB Department |
Responsibilities |
1. Photographs guests at various locations and creates cruise memories. 2. Assists The HUB Manager with guiding and training 2nd and 3rd Photographers. 3. Meets assigned shot count targets with high-quality photography. 4. Meets assigned sales targets. 5. Operates photo equipment. 6. Manages daily activities in the Photo Gallery/Photo Shop. 7. Sells digital images, photos, wristbands, and retail products. 8. Promotes and upsells all products. 9. Engages positively with guests. 10. Communicates effectively with team members. 11. Completes duties as outlined in the Work Plan (WP). 12. Provides daily feedback to the Assistant The HUB Manager for sales improvements and product enhancements. 13. Participates in training and development sessions. 14. Understands department KPIs. 15. Follows department and company procedures and best practices. |
