JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Basics Responsible to achieve and to exceed the sales goal through an high product knowledge contributing to the KPIs achievement.
To promote our high-quality retailing standards with a passionate work , continuously driving maximum sales results granting an excellent customer service, from any entrance in jewellery store , handling the sales process as per delivery standards (from Welcome to Packaging) and ensuring the right and best application of selling techniques to deliver an unique shopping experience on MSC Fleet
Experience Required 1 year in the previous position in Luxury Jewelry & Watches or coming from a real competitor in the same position, at least. Previous experience on cruise lines is a plus
Responsibilities

Main Duties

  • Follow Instructions: Adhere to directions and instructions given by the Luxury Jewelry Manager or, in their absence, the Luxury Jewelry Assistant Manager.
  • Environmental Policy: Understand and follow the company's environmental policy, rules, and regulations at all times.
  • Visual Merchandise: Follow Visual Merchandise guidelines.
  • Training and Knowledge: Be well-trained on product knowledge, sales techniques, visual merchandise, and customer service.
  • Daily Working Program: Apply the daily working program for specific cruise itineraries to maximize passenger flow on the sales floor.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products.
  • Sales and Productivity: Apply knowledge and skills to maximize sales and productivity.
  • Merchandise Confirmation: Confirm all merchandise received onboard according to receiving policy and procedures.
  • Display and Pricing: Keep all merchandise properly displayed and priced at all times.
  • Cash Register Operation: Operate cash registers and be responsible for processing payments.
  • Customer Interaction: Welcome customers and help maximize selling opportunities. Customize the selling approach to different guest targets.
  • Customer Relationships: Build relationships and trust with customers to enhance their shopping experience and increase purchasing opportunities.
  • Handling Complaints: Handle customer complaints professionally with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Sales Targets: Consistently exceed selling targets.
  • Selling Techniques: Make regular use of add-selling, cross-selling, and other known selling techniques.
  • Stock Monitoring: Monitor levels of products in stock, receive, and properly store products delivered with supervision according to procedures and in a timely manner.
  • Integrity and Honesty: Demonstrate integrity and honesty in all interactions with guests and the sales team.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain and control stock inventory according to receiving policy and procedures. Inspect merchandise to ensure it is properly displayed and priced at all times. Inform the superior of any damaged items.
